Hillels of Georgia is pleased to share the announcement of Hillel International’s 2020-2021 Student Cabinet. The announcement of the student cabinet is a celebration of student leaders across the globe, and this year it includes one of our own! Ben Lefkowitz, Emory student and campus leader, has been appointed to the Hillel International Student Cabinet. Emory Hillel and Hillels of Georgia are elated to have Ben’s representation on the cabinet, and know he will excel in this role.
Ben Lefkowitz is a rising junior at Emory University in Atlanta, majoring in international studies with a focus on the Middle East and conflict and security. Previously, Ben spent a year in Israel working as a research assistant for the organization NGO- Monitor and participating in the educational basic training program Marva. On campus, Ben is president of the Emory Israel Public Affairs Committee (EIPAC) and served this past year as the Israel Chair for Emory Hillel. He also served as a Grinspoon Fellow for the Israel on Campus Coalition. He has enjoyed using his position on campus to work with inspirational Jewish and pro-Israel leaders throughout the Atlanta community, and is excited to work with and learn from Jewish leaders all over the world as a new member of the Hillel International Student Cabinet.
Mazel Tov Ben!
