Kennesaw State Hillel Appoints New Campus Director

Elliot B. Karp, CEO of Hillel’s of Georgia is pleased to announce that Valerie Chambers has been appointed Campus Director for Hillel at Kennesaw State University.


"Valerie is bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our professional team at Hillel," said Elliot B. Karp, CEO of Hillels of Georgia. "I look forward to seeing her increase student engagement at Hillel at KSU. With her strong leadership and the devoted students already on campus, I am sure we will see incredible growth and a vibrant community of Jewish students at KSU."


Valerie comes to Hillel at KSU after having served as the Director of Athletic Development and Wellness at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta. She is currently enrolled in Spertus Institute's Master's degree program in Jewish Professional Studies.


A graduate of Georgia College and State University with a BA in History, Valerie has devoted her career to working for the Jewish community, including teaching classes on Jewish history and Holocaust studies.


Valerie looks forward with tremendous enthusiasm to working with Hillel students at KSU to develop their personal Jewish identities and Jewish pride, and connecting them to the Jewish community on campus, the greater Jewish community and Israel.
