Welcome to Emory,
Class of 2026!
There is an amazing Jewish life here and we cannot wait for you to get involved. There are tons of opportunities for you throughout the year, especially when you first get here. If you have any questions about jewish life, academic life,
social life, or anything else, please contact us!

First Year Council is a program intended to foster community among first-year students. The council is responsible for planning and implementing Jewish programs so that Jewish first-year students can get to know one another in a welcoming, collaborative environment.
Applications for first-year students will be available after the first few weeks of the school year.
First Year Students of Hillel
We will pair you up with an upperclassman, a big FYSH. We encourage you to get to know your big FYSH and feel free to ask them any questions you want about life at Emory.
They will help you become more acclimated with the environment here, and you will already have a friend on campus! Your big FYSH will contact you before coming to school in August and help you get ready for this exciting time in your life!
