UGA Hillel welcomed Jewish Educational Loan Fund (JELF) leaders and visiting parents for a joyful, spirited Shabbat that brought generations together around one table. From singing to shared stories, the night was filled with warmth, pride, and community connection.
The most powerful moment? Watching students, parents, and JELF partners form one extended Jewish family; living out Hillels of Georgia’s mission to build communities where every student feels supported, connected, and proud of their Jewish identity.

Hillel at Georgia Tech student leaders met with Eitan Weiss, Israel’s Consul General to the Southeast, and Ruth Gal Gabriel to discuss Jewish life on campus and new opportunities for partnership. The meeting was organized by student leader, Zoe Glickman.
This intimate conversation strengthened relationships between students and the broader Atlanta Jewish community. Students shared their hopes for campus Jewish life, while the Consul General’s team offered support and pathways for continued engagement.

Emory Hillel Grads Connect + Einav's Israeli Cooking

Emory Hillel hit The Beltline to host a cross-school Graduate Student Mixer with partners from JMDA, JLSA, and JSPH. Students mingled, laughed, and connected outside their academic silos.
“This was an amazing event…we can’t wait to do it again!” shared a JLSA board member.
The night helped unite graduate communities that rarely overlap and deepened Hillel’s relationships with student leaders; showing every graduate student they have a home at Hillel. Many continued socializing long after the event ended.
Meanwhile, Einav’s Israeli cooking demos have become a campus sensation! Students learned step-by-step how to make schnitzel and shakshuka, all while enjoying the best social night on campus. These gatherings offer more than amazing food. They give students a cultural connection to Israel beyond politics. With a mix of returning participants and brand-new faces, this series is building community one bite at a time.

Hebrew Meets Culinary Adventure at KSU Hillel

KSU Hillel students stepped into a playful Israeli pop-up experience featuring chocolate balls, Hebrew menus, pretend shekels, and student waiters taking orders (in Hebrew, of course!). The menu included lemonana, ice café, soups, bourekas, jachnun, and more.
Students shared that they loved the hands-on cultural immersion, practicing Hebrew, exploring Israeli foods, and building community through creativity. The energy was so high that students stayed late (always the best sign!).

Midnight Breakfast Tradition Continues at SCAD Hillel

As the quarter wrapped, SCAD Hillel students came together for their beloved late-night tradition: Midnight Breakfast. Think great food, cozy vibes, and a moment to breathe before finals.

The event celebrates community at a time students need it most, giving them space to connect, unwind, and reflect on the quarter.
