A Note From the Hillels of Georgia Leadership Team
We are horrified by the news of the antisemitic attack in West Bloomfield, Michigan at Temple Israel. This is a painful reminder that antisemitism and the threat of violent extremism targeting Jewish communities remain very real.
At Hillels of Georgia, the safety and wellbeing of Jewish students and campus communities is our highest priority. Antisemitism must be condemned clearly, consistently, and without qualification.
We remain in close coordination with university partners, law enforcement, and security professionals to help ensure that Jewish students across Georgia’s campuses are supported, vigilant, and able to gather proudly and safely.

Georgia Tech x Technion Collaboration
READ MORE
Students, alumni, and faculty gathered on March 9 to hear from visiting fellows Talia Sofer Altit and Nikita Matrosov from Technion: The Israel Institute of Technology about life as students in Israel and their hopes for the future. Georgia Tech and Technion professor Dan Levy reflected on the similarities between the two institutions’ rigorous academics, as well as the stark differences in student life.
The evening offered students a meaningful perspective on resilience and campus life in Israel. “It made me grateful for my life at Georgia Tech where I have the luxury of focusing on school without the additional constant threat of worrying about when the next missile might hit.” — Rotem Kanny, Georgia Tech, Class of 2026

Passover Preparations are Underway
Even while students are away for spring break, campus professionals are hard at work preparing meaningful Passover programming for when they return.
You can support these efforts and help ensure every student who wants to celebrate has a seat at the seder by visiting hillelsofgeorgia.org/supportus.
