Dear Friends:
We were thrilled when Hillels of Georgia asked us to be the honorees for the 9th Annual Campus SuperStar event, a critical part of Hillel’s Annual Campaign. Hillels of Georgia is the leading Jewish student organization in Georgia, serving Emory, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, UGA, and smaller campuses. Hillel has been a key part of our philanthropic and communal work through the years. We are very committed to their mission through the decades, to keep Jewish college students engaged so they return to their communities as the leaders of tomorrow.
Campus SuperStar is a unique and successful fundraising event. It is an American-Idol style talent search, open to all Georgia college students. The evening, which will take place on March 27, 2012, includes a reception and then a spectacular production where the winning vocalist, selected from 10 finalists, is awarded a grand prize of $5,000, with all contestants receiving cash prizes to help them attain their scholastic goals.
Hillel’s annual fundraising depends on this event and we urge you to be our partners in ensuring its success. We are deeply committed to Jewish ‘continuity’ and are asking our friends and business associates to join us in this effort.
Thank you for your consideration and joining us in acknowledging the wonderful work of Hillels of Georgia.
With our sincere gratitude,
Sherry & Harry MaziarSherry & Harry Maziar
